Jazzercise Walla Walla

FAQ's

How do I get started?

Your first week of Jazzercise is free. Just come 5-10 minutes early to sign in. With each visit you will feel more comfortable with the routines and format of class.

How much does a class cost?

Please view our pricing options here.

Is Child Care Available?

No, we used to provide child care but it has been cancelled due to lack of need. You may bring your child to class if he or she is able to sit quietly in back or along the side of class. Reading or drawing is encouraged. This is a time to fun and exercise for many of the other students so their "space" needs to be respected.

How often should I exercise?

If you are new to exercise, begin with 2-3 classes a week and gradually add classes. To increase your fitness level, work out 4-5 times per week.

What are the instructors' credentials?

Jazzercise instructors participate in an intensive screening process as well as training and certification program, and are CPR certified. Instructors also continue their education in all aspects of dance and physiology to keep abreast of the latest developments in fitness.

May I bring drinks and food to a class?

We recommend Jazzercisers bring a non-breakable water bottle with a lid to class. Prevent accidents and spillage by keeping drinks out of the way of other Jazzercisers. No food or gum, please.

Do I need weights?

Weights are provided and are optional for new customers. We recommend you familiarize yourself with the basic exercises and techniques before using light (3-5lb.) weights.

Do I need special clothes or equipment?

Any loose, comfortable clothes are fine. Most people wear bike shorts or jazz pants and a bra top or T-shirt. Bring along a towel. Good, rubber-soled aerobic shoes are recommended. Mats are provided for floor work, but you may want to bring your own.
